CEO Women  The mission of C.E.O. Women is to create economic opportunities for low-income immigrant and refugee women through teaching English, communications and entrepreneurship skills, so they can establish successful livelihoods. C.E.O. Women then provides women with intensive mentoring, coaching and access to capital needed to start a small business. http://www.ceowomen.org/

The Feminist Majority Foundation  The FMF engages in research and public policy development, public education programs, grassroots organizing projects, leadership training and development programs, and participates in and organizes forums on issues of women's equality and empowerment. Ms. Foundation for Women  The Ms. Foundation for women is the first and leading women’s fund and the foundation engaged across the United States to build women’s collective power to ignite change. Sister Keeper.org  Sister’s Keeper Resource Center (SKRCI) is a 501 (c) (3 ) non-profit organization geared to focusing on healing, restoring, building and guiding women to a healthier and productive lifestyle and achieving their personal and professional goals through information, education, referral, networking and spiritual growth. Business and Professional Women/ USA and BPW Foundation  Established in 1956, Business and Professional Women’s (BPW) Foundation became the first foundation dedicated to conducting research and providing information solely about workingwomen. Today, BPW Foundation is transforming workplaces by focusing on issues that impact workingwomen, families and employers. The Women's Foundation of Southern Arizona  The Women’s Foundation of Southern Arizona was founded in 1992 on the principle that when women thrive, the whole community benefits. Since its inception the WFSA has invested more than $1.2 million in organizations that help women overcome social, political and economic inequities. The Foundation has also been a driving force in political change and advocacy for all women and girls. The WFSA is one of more than a hundred women’s funds globally that fosters equity and opportunity for women and girls. http://www.womengiving.org

Womens Rights Organizations

Tostan International  Based in Senegal, West Africa, Tostan is dedicated to educating and empowering Africans who have had little or no access to formal schooling. We work primarily in rural regions to provide basic education and increase community engagement in projects related to health and hygiene, child welfare, human rights and democracy, the environment, and economic development.

CARE  a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. We place special focus on working alongside poor women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty. Women are at the heart of CARE's community-based efforts to improve basic education, prevent the spread of HIV, increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunity and protect natural resources. CARE also delivers emergency aid to survivors of war and natural disasters, and helps people rebuild their lives.
